Pastor Velosia Ann Kibe has served Windsor Village as Associate Pastor since June of 1997. Pastor Kibe is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin where she studied Music and Classical Voice. She holds a double major in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Houston. She completed her Theological education at SMU Perkins School of
Theology with a Masters of Divinity degree. While there, she was the recipient of the Weatherford Award for outstanding student
preaching.
Her 22 years of service in the Texas Annual Conference includes:
· Serving six churches as Pastor, in the Texas Annual Conference
·Facilitator for classes in Advanced Preaching and Evangelism
· Facilitator for the Certification School of the Houston South
District
· Member of the District Committee on Ordained Ministry
· Speaker for the Annual Martin Luther King community service

· Speaker for the Annual Children's Defense Fund ecumenical

· Texas Conference Delegate to the Cote d'Ivoire Annual Conference
· Nothing but Nets" Global Health initiative for the Texas Annual Conference 2007
Pastor Kibe preaches for weekly worship services at Windsor Village, as well as international Church revivals, seminars and workshops. In addition to preaching at the worship service, she is responsible for individual Pastoral Coaching and Marital Coaching.
Pastor Kibe mentors persons seeking ordination in the United Methodist Church, to assist those persons to listen to God’s call to Ordained Ministry, and respond accordingly.
She also serves as Missions Pastor responsible for coordinating local and global mission projects. The most recent major local project led by Pastor Kibe is the Medical Clinic in the 3rd ward of Houston which partners with the Christian Alliance and the Trinity East U.M.C.
Globally, Pastor Kibe conducts evangelistic revivals, Leadership Development for Pastors and congregations, and ministries to the needy in the Caribbean, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya. Pastor Kibe is currently has oversight for the building of the Kingdom Builders Center in Kenya which includes a residential children’s facility for orphans, a library for the Center and the community and a Medical facility.
Pastor Kibe is the wife of Daniel Kibe Munderu. Their blended family includes 4 children and one grandchild.
